Introduction Since 1990 the Geological Survey of Victoria has had several rocks dated using the SHRIMP (Sensitive High Resolution Ion Microprobe) at the Research School of Earth Sciences, ANU, Canberra to perform U/Pb age determinations on zircons. This record documents details of the samples dated and their localities, and discusses the geological significance of the dates obtained. Localities are given as Australian Map Grid AGD66.

Samples are given VAD (Victorian Age Determination) numbers, as well as field numbers, and are listed under the 1:100 000 map sheets on which they occur. These sheets are arranged in alphabetical order. A magmatic age was sought for most samples, but some sedimentary rocks had detrital zircons dated.
