Product description:

Version 1.0 - March 2007.

This data package contains seismic velocity data for some Gippsland Basin 2D & 3D surveys.
A map is included which displays the 2D lines and outlines of 3D surveys with stacking velocities.

The 2D velocity data is in ASCII Western Geophysical format, and has been derived from two sources.
    (1) Digital data submitted to DPI by companies.
    (2) From hardcopy seismic section velocity boxes.

2D stacking velocities have been grouped into 3 main categories.
    (1) Velocities from original processing (2d_stk_vels).
    (2) Velocities from later re-processing (2d_rpro_stk_vels).
    (3) Migration velocities (2d_mig_vels).

The 3D data is in their original formats as submitted by the companies.
