| ||||||||||||||||
Product description:Introduction The groundwater resources of Western Port Basin are widely used for agriculture, industry, and domestic supply; their importance is reflected in the fact that the Koo-wee-rup area was the first Groundwater Conservation Area to be proclaimed under the provisions of the Victorian Groundwater Act 1969. Hydrogeologists of the Department of Minerals and Energy have recently undertaken an extensive revision of Western Port Groundwater Basin. A hydrogeological map of the basin summarising much of this work has been prepared and is the subject of this report. Download The downloadable version of this report is supplied in PDF format (2.2MB). Bibliographic reference Lakey, R. & Tickell, S., 1981.
