| ||||||||||||||||
Product description:The exposed, central part of the Stawell Zone contains several significant Palaeozoic gold deposits, including the 5 Moz Stawell goldfield. In the northern part of the zone, however, Palaeozoic gold-bearing formations are covered by younger sediments and only a few gold occurrences have been discovered in that area. This report describes the methods and results of an assessment of the undiscovered endowment of mesozonal orogenic gold in the northern, covered part of the Stawell Zone.
