GU Report 17 - Assessment of undiscovered orogenic gold endowment under cover in the northern part of the Melbourne Zone (Victoria)
| ||||||||||||||||
Product description:The exposed Palaeozoic rocks of the Melbourne Zone contain several significant gold deposits, including the 69t (2 Moz) Walhalla goldfield. In the northern part of the zone, however, Palaeozoic gold-bearing rocks are covered by younger unconsolidated sediments, and only a few gold occurrences have been discovered. This report outlines the method and results of a quantitative assessment of undiscovered gold endowment in orogenic gold deposits in the northern, covered part of the Melbourne Zone. Download The downloadable version of this report is supplied in PDF format. Bibliographic reference Lisitsin, V.A., Olshina, A., Moore, D.H., Willman, C.E. & Hough, M.A., 2010.
