Product description:Introduction Victoria is predominantly a region of gold mineralisation and over 99% of the metallic mineral wealth of the State has been derived from the production of gold. The only other metallic ores that are moderately widespread and have been mined at regular intervals since the early days are those of silver, tin and antimony. By contrast, the total value of lead, zinc and copper minerals that have been mined is very small and production has come from only a few localities...
