Product description:AbstractHighlake Resources Pty Ltd (Highlake) is exploring EL 4347 (Mount Dryden) primarily for gold and base metals. Until recently, the focus of exploration has been nickel deposits hosted by Cambrian mafic/ultramafic (greenstone) complexes, analogous to the Avebury deposit in Western Tasmania. Highlake was successful in gaining funding from the Victorian Government under the Rediscover Victoria Drilling Proposal program to test the Billygoat Nickel Prospect, near Lake Fyans in Western Victoria. The proposed drilling program was delayed for a considerable time by compensation negotiations with the landowner principally affected by the drilling. Aircore drilling commenced on 18/01/2009 and was completed on 4/02/2009, after drilling 83 holes for 3232 metres. The single diamond hole (BGD01) was drilled in the period 23/02/2009 to 3/03/2009, with a total depth of 202.20 metres.
