Introduction Scoria and tuff are volcanic materials which are deposited during the eruption of a volcano. They are widespread within the "Newer Volcanics" of the Western District of Victoria, and usually form prominent scoria cones and tuff rings. Many cones and rings have undergone relatively little weathering, and consist of material of economic importance for construction purposes...
